Only 2% of all female entrepreneurs and female-led businesses achieve a 7-figure annual revenue. 90% don’t even make 6 figures. Why?
I’ve worked with over 3500 women in the last 7 years and made almost $10M in total revenue. During this time, I got a deep insight into why women don’t make more money.
In this episode, I share the main reasons why women tend to play it small, and what we can do to bring change.
In some cases, this is because women do not take their business seriously. They may treat their business as a hobby – and let's be clear, if you are not generating revenue, you have an expensive hobby, not a business. Taking the summer off is another common reason. How many men do you know who pause their business for several months at a time? You can take a holiday and still make money.
I also hear of a lot of excuses from women in business. These excuses could be that family gets in the way, or that a partner is not supportive enough. Here's the thing about excuses – that's all they are. They are excuses, not reasons.
Many women in business are also more risk-averse than men. This lack of confidence is a huge roadblock to online business success for any entrepreneur. You need to invest in yourself to grow.
Whatever the reason, it's time step out of the shadow of the 98% and join the 2% of female entrepreneurs who make 7 figures. This podcast will explain how you can do so.
