How do you feel about Facebook ads?
Facebook offers a unique opportunity for online businesses to gain visibility, make sales and get new leads. But when you set up your Facebook ads, there’s a lot of boxes that need to be checked. With both your money and time on the line, there’s not much room for mistakes.
Rei Baumeister, my guest this week on the Sigrun Show, has figured out a method how to make $100K a month with Facebook ads – without having to launch.
He’s been in online business for over 20 years, has done online marketing for Amazon and Cosmopolitan, and has tried out every strategy there is when it comes to Facebook ads.
Five years ago, he ventured out on his own and started to run Facebook ads for entrepreneurs. Today, he coaches them on how they can set up their Facebook ads effectively themselves.
In this episode, Rei shares how he came to be a Facebook ads expert, what to look out for when using Facebook ads in the future, and of course, his method of making $100K a month with Facebook ads – without launching.
Are you open to rethinking your own Facebook ads strategy? Then this episode is a must!

Rei’s Method of Making $100K a Month Using Facebook Ads
Rei’s Facebook ad strategy boils down to one thing: simplicity. After having tried out various ads to warm up his audience before a launch, he came to the conclusion that the more steps he added to his funnel, the less people made it to the end.
Advertising freebies or posting launch runway ads wasn’t efficient when he looked at his ads budget.
He also got frustrated when during the short period of a launch an ad would pick up in the last few days, and then got shut down because the launch was over.
That’s why two years ago, he switched to a method that didn’t involve launching at all. His goal was to reduce the stress he experienced during a launch, and spend money on ads in a more consistent way.
He decided to create an evergreen webinar he drives Facebook ads to during the whole year. At the end of the webinar, he makes his pitch: either a strategy session or a free call. During the call, he sells his offer. And that’s all there is to it – no seeding, no warming up, no nurturing.
Tweaking and Optimising
Analysing how his webinar went weekly, he tweaks and optimises it whenever he sees potential for improvement. If there were a lot of drop-offs during a specific part of the webinar, he switches out that part.
Obviously drop-offs happen, especially with a cold audience. But Rei argues that having fewer steps in his funnel gives his audience fewer occasions to drop out. He fits the people who do drop-off into one of these three scenarios:
- Didn’t show up for the webinar at all
- Didn’t attend the webinar until the end
- Attended until the end but didn’t book a call
For each scenario, Rei has an email campaign ready in order to follow up with them. If he notices that certain emails have lower opening rates, he optimises them just like he does with the webinar.
The benefits of Rei’s method are that you only have to set this up once and it works throughout the year – however, you might miss out on the excitement and energy a launch can bring.
Rei says that by constantly optimising his webinar, his conversion rate reaches up to 20%.
