For many of us, blog writing and copywriting do not come easy. In fact, many new entrepreneurs put these tasks on the back burner because they aren’t sure how they want to write their copy. They may spend months – or even years – reading books and blog posts on copywriting or purchasing courses to try to learn how to write the perfect post. Striking the perfect balance between appealing to search engine algorithms and appealing directly to readers can be very challenging.
Sure, AI has now arrived to help us craft compelling copy. However, there is no substitute for authenticity. When people emotionally invest in you as an online entrepreneur, they also emotionally invest in you as a person. If you plan to write content that converts, you need to ensure that your audience connects with what you have to say.
In this episode of The Sigrun Show, I share my experience with copywriting and blog writing for my business. I go over some of the lessons I have learned throughout this journey and how a debate inspired me to write my best copy. I also explain why it’s critical to stay true to who you are in your copy in order to attract your ideal client.
